Simply Business Summer Festival and Awards 2023
We were delighted to host the Simply Business Summer Festival & Awards, providing a full day of activities and entertainment for attendees.
The Event
On 22nd September 2023, Evolution London welcomed 700 guests for the Simply Business Summer Festival and Awards. The event spanned the entire day, kicking off with a morning company update, and concluding with a lively afterparty.
The day began with a company update, before guests were able to explore the various activations around the venue including the festival stretch tents, DJ’s, band sets, candy floss station and fair ground games. Attendees then enjoyed a BBQ lunch, taking advantage of the sunny summer weather, before listening to an educational talk from Denise Lewis OBE and mingling in meet and greet sessions.
Guests were then taken to their hotels for some free time before being welcomed back to the venue through direct coach drop off outside Evolution London. Prior to the awards commencing, the guests gathered to enjoy a drinks reception under the glistening mirror ball.
To round off the event and end the night, Greg James, who was the headline DJ took to the stage to provide a DJ set which all the guests thoroughly enjoyed.

Smart Group and the whole team at Evolution London were a joy to work with and helped us to create a wonderful event for our global get-together. Our requirements from the space were a little different to usual formats, but the team helped to ensure the day felt seamless and our guests really experienced a festival and awards ceremony to remember!
