Youngs Awards 2025: Spring Ball

In April, Evolution London welcomed the Young Awards 2025: Spring Ball for the second year running. This annual event is all about celebrating the amazing people across Young’s – from general managers to support teams and directors – who go above and beyond every day. This year’s theme was Bridgerton-inspired (a fun switch-up from last year’s Greatest Showman extravaganza). The venue was beautifully dressed with faux wisteria trees and other elegant touches, setting the scene for a magical night.

Guests were welcomed by a live string quartet as they arrived while enjoying a delicious selection of canapés – from succulent mini pulled beef tacos to truffled pomme Anna and a delicate pea, asparagus, and truffle custard tart. Adding to the enchantment, an aerialist performed gracefully overhead during the drinks reception, bringing a touch of drama and spectacle to the evening.

The highlight of the evening – the awards ceremony – took place in the main space, where guests enjoyed a beautifully curated seasonal menu. Dishes included a vibrant asparagus, bean, and dukkah (vg) starter, followed by a melt-in-your-mouth slow-cooked beef short rib finished with a rich barbecue glaze.

After the presentation of 16 awards, guests returned to mingling on the dance floor, partying late into the night with the DJ keeping the energy high. To top things off, dessert canapés were served, adding a sweet touch as everyone made the most of the evening’s final hours.
