Your journey to Evolution London just got a whole lot easier

Battersea Power Station underground station opens today. It's less than a 15 minute walk to Evolution London, making it the closest tube station to the venue.

Evolution London's new closest tube station

Today marks a really exciting day for everyone at Evolution London, as of this morning Battersea Power Station underground station opens on the Northern Line. The opening of the station makes it the closest underground station to Evolution London, and just 8 minutes from Waterloo station and 28 minutes from Paddington.

Battersea Power Station and Nine Elms station are the first new stations on the Northern Line in over 80 years. Work began on the 3km twin-tunnel railway between Kennington and Battersea Power Station in 2015, and today the underground station in Battersea finally opens.

Battersea Power Station

Nine Elms and Battersea Power Station both reside in Zone 1 and are step free from street to train. Initially, during peak hours trains will run every 10 minutes but this is expected to change to every 5 minutes from mid-2022 making it the perfect way to get to Evolution London in record time.
