What's on in Battersea this Christmas?

Although Battersea has an extraordinary charm all year round, at Christmas, our local area comes alive with an abundance of festive activities to get everyone in the spirit! Read on to find out what's on offer this year.

Evolution London is fortunate to be situated in a thriving hotspot of London, which has a unique charm that draws people from all over, whatever the season. However, over Christmas, the area is transformed into a festive haven, brimming with seasonal pop-ups for all ages. From now until the 7th of January 2024, over 120 Christmas trees, a trail of giant candy canes, Christmas markets, and a whole lot more are on display for you to explore. Read on to find out what’s on in Battersea this festive season.

'Glide' Ice Rink

Sponsored by Jo Malone, London’s only ice rink on the riverside, Glide, is returning to Battersea Power Station for its second year. Situated in front of one of London’s most remarkable buildings are three interconnecting rinks with a magnificent 30ft tree at their heart. Whether you’re an avid skater, a complete novice on the ice, or just looking for the perfect Christmas date spot, this is guaranteed to get everyone into the festive spirit. When you’ve had enough of the skating, you can head to The Glass House to thaw out with a cosy cup of mulled wine whilst soaking up the stunning surrounding views.

Open seven days a week from 10th November 2023 until 7th January 2024.

Christmas Markets

The Lighthouse Battersea will be hosting The Battersea Christmas Market from the 23rd of November to the 26th of November, where there will be a 4-day Bavarian-style installation. You can indulge in a warming mug of hot chocolate whilst browsing the traditional pop-up stands.

Alternatively, Battersea Power Station will play host to a series of Christmas Markets, consisting of hundreds of independent sellers offering a selection of handmade trinkets, from personalised Christmas decorations to delicious sweet treats. On the 2nd and 3rd of December, head down to Battersea Power Station’s Turbine Hall A, where there will be a spotlight on 60+ small businesses. Or, if you can’t make it that weekend, the Curated Makers Christmas Market will be running from the 9th – to the 22nd of December in Turbine Hall B, where you can pick up unique gifts and connect with the talented creators.
