On Wednesday 8th September, Evolution London welcomed the great and the good of the sports industry as they came together to celebrate the 20th edition of the Sport Industry Awards.

It was the first time the whole industry had been together since the pandemic started, so the whole team at Evolution London were ready to put their best feet forward and deliver a star studded event to end all star studded events.

Over 800 guests were welcomed into Evolution London on the red carpet where they were greeted by our teams of waiting staff with a glass of prosecco and canapés for a pre-event reception.

Canapés included smoked fillet of beef on a rosti with truffle cream, and tiger prawn and lemongrass arancini.

They were then shown to their seats and served a delectable three course dinner including a starter of ​​roasted wild mushroom and thyme croquette, with spiced squash cream.

The main course served was a fillet of treacle British beef, short rib and ale pasty, roast tenderstem broccoli, pan haggerty.

Winners on the night

The awards were hosted by Laura Woods and Mark Durden-Smith with a surprise appearance from none other than former speaker of the house John Bercow.

Amongst some of the incredible winners on the night, were the FA for their Heads Up Campaign which encourages men to talk about their mental health and Campaign of the Year went to the 2.6 Challenge – a campaign set up to save the UK’s charities during the pandemic. All of the winners and nominees on the night are a true inspiration to future generations.
