Five Minutes with Shilpa Parmar
We sat down for 5 minutes with one of our Event Account Managers, Shilpa, to find out some more about her and her role in the team!
Tell us about your role at Evolution London?
I’m an Event Account Manager, which means I plan events from a venue and catering perspective for events averaging 1,300 guests. My role consists of being our clients’ venue and catering point of contact, which is rare for this type of venue. However, this is a bonus for the client as they have one less person to deal with! Working at Evolution means no day is the same, and I definitely learn something new every day. That said, my average day sees me conducting site visits, client meetings, speaking to suppliers, booking venue personnel, attending tastings, admin (which includes finalising cost sheets and signing off invoices), and sending chefs the guests’ dietary requirements, which for over 1,000 attendees is no easy task!
